Before you cook an egg to eat, have you ever wondered if the egg is fresh? To test the freshness of an egg, place it in a bowl of water. If it sinks and lays flat, it is fresh.
Place the eggs in the egg tray with the pointed ends downward. Apparently, the air cell at the rounded end acts as a buffer to help keep the eggs fresh for a longer period of time.
